I found the staff considerate. they were friendly and helpful. the hotel location is perfect. the rooms were both clean and luxurious. I really enjoyed that.

The lift doors have some faded food photography on them. It felt a little out of place.

attentive staff perfect location

the staff was attentive and helpful throughout my stay. the location was perfect, really close to the shoreline and within easy walking distance to praça do comércio (i especially enjoyed the walking tours!).

the minibar selection could be improved (it only offered soft drinks and beer). i would have liked more variety, even if it meant paying extra.

The location was very convenient near main attractions. Public transit stops were also nearby. The hotel offered complimentary snacks in the lobby ALL day. Breakfast each morning had super nice offerings.

The minibar was limited, i understand it was complimentary. It only offered soft drinks and beer. I would have liked MUCH more choice. The complimentary evening 'cocktails' felt disappointing.

our family stayed in a family superior room. the staff promptly answered every question we emailed. the rooms were adequately sized and configured as four twin beds. the free walking tours proved to be a highlight and the guides were both informative and engaging. we also enjoyed the festive holiday lights during the afternoon tour.

the complimentary evening cocktails lacked premium quality. the lobby felt draughty, slightly diminishing the overall experience. i wish there were robes in the room.

room upgrade thoughtful touch historic landmarks

The staff surprised us with an upgrade and personally delivered luggage to our room. A welcome gift of wine and a cheese plate arrived shortly after (a really thoughtful touch!). I joined the complimentary two-hour walking tour of historic landmarks and found it a great way to start exploring. Breakfast each morning offered an excellent selection. The staff made sure everything was perfect.

The minibar had limited choices. I expected more variety, even if I had to pay for it. The complimentary evening cocktails lacked premium options.
